Wow just had the worst delivery experience ever. I'm really disappointed right now. Ordered food an hour and a half ago, been waiting anxiously. I called asking where the driver was, she said he couldn't find the address. I asked if they could warm it up or give me a discount. She said she can call the driver and cancel it, I told her I wanted the food but id like it either warm, or have a discount. She said she's going to cancel the order and hung up on me. I called back and asked to speak with a manager, they put me on hold twice, and then the same person said she was the manager, nothing could be done she's going to cancel it, she's to busy to deal with this and hung up. My stomach is growling and I still want the food. Unfortunately this was so terrible I cannot return. I don't recommend you either with service like that.

What is impressive about this restaurant is that you can see into the kitchen and watch them cut fresh ingredients. The person at the front counter has a thick accent but her English is great. She always makes sure I know where the store is located and it's always only a 10 minute wait. Their fried rice is something I crave every once in awhile because it is so good. It is perfect alone but better with a little of my schezuan sauce. They pack the meal and the rice in the same plastic container so it all runs together in the center. It is the same portion size for lunch and dinner but the price is lower midday. Best to go for lunch if you can. This is the best Chinese restaurant in the area based on my preferences. I like the schezuan chicken. They make it with no oil & pepper based sauce instead of a brown sauce like many other places. Edit: Something changed. The food is still great and now they can get "extra spicy" correct. It's nice to have spice!

This place is just okay to me. We've eaten here a few times. Fast delivery but all the food is just overly salty. Last time to the point of not being about to finish it. Maybe just the style i am used to but rice and eggrolls we're a little off. Okay in a pinch but will keep looking.

We ordered Allman boneless chicken but it came with no gravy and it took 45 minutes for them to get the gravy. Who has Allman boneless with no gravy. We called in ten minute it will come. It did but the entire dinner is COLD. Over an hour but once I re heated it it tasted great! Not happy but FULL

This is no doubt a 3 star place, but is bumped up to 4 with their crazy low prices, large portions, and free delivery (within 5 miles). Their Kung Pao chicken meets the standard Lakeside Mall chinese, but the mall chinese is decent so that's no complaint from me. The crab cheese rangoon is where it's a here. $2.95 for six and they met the tastiest takeout chinese rangoon I've had, neck to neck in flavor. Perhaps if this place were within 5 miles it would be a dangerous place to have around, but the food won't have me running back there from Ferndale. I would reccomend this place for people wanting Mall chinese- no more, no less.

This restaurant is more of a carry out/delivery place. Don't expect anything fancy here. Not the place to really sit down and eat. I think it is family run/owned. The food is excellent, tasty, fresh, and fast. When it's not too busy you can order, then be out of there in about 15 minutes. For two people, the portions are so big that you have leftovers for the next day and they still taste good. I usually get the vegetable fried rice, almond boneless chicken, the chicken chow mein, and the spring rolls. Very easy to get filled up from the vegetables they put in the dishes. My go to place in the Hall and Hayes area for Chinese food.

FAIL!!!! This place used to be the best greasy Chinese-American take-out place in the neighborhood. However, the original owners sold the business to someone new, and the place has totally gone downhill from there. I used to adore the lo mein and egg rolls, but now.....BLECH! I've yet to find a comparable place to replace it, but alas, no luck! I will say, the food isn't TERRIBLE, but no where near as tasty as it used to be.

I hadn't ordered from here in a while, and when I found out they had new owner I was a little hesitant, but... Even BETTER! The sesame chicken was delicious, the fried rice had real chicken in it - not some artificial chicken cubes. The crab rangoons were crispy and tasty, and they started using microwave safe plastic containers, which seem to be recyclable. Best of all - sauce won't leak all over. The new menu - all the dinner combos are $6.99, and I had leftovers :) Fantastic improvements! I plan on making this a weekly thing. Oh yeah, and now they deliver.

They deliver. The "other" Chinese place stopped recently when it switched owners and name. Love the dumplings here. The Honey chicken is very good. Typical Chinese, nothing fancy, but the Singapore noodles are very good and a nice change of pace from the usual. Not a fan of their fried rice. They do give you a lot for your money. Kind of sad the "other" place stopped delivering, but happy there's still a good place with fast, fresh, American-style Chinese around that delivers.

China Wok is a very typical Chinese take-out restaurant. There isn't anything all that unique on the menu but all the standard favorites are there. We ordered Chicken LoMein, Fried Rice, and Chicken in Garlic Sauce and everything was really good. The meat and veggies were fresh and most importantly, identifiable. Nothing was too salty or too greasy, it was just right. Although I can't say this is the best chinese food you'll ever have I can say that the prices are very reasonable, portions are large, and the food is good. So China Wok is a solid neighborhood Chinese Take-out.

Don't even bother with this one. Used to eat here all the time about two years ago. Tried it a few weeks ago and holy frickin barf bags Batman. My girlfriends Schezuan chicken had no trace of seasoning. It was literally drenched in oil. I had the pepper steak and was more like a White Castle meat patty meets Chinese vegetables for a party that went bad. Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. Never again, Im really going to miss those $4 dollar lunch specials. :(

The food here is Excellent!!!!! New York Style Chinese food. Service is great; although, sometimes they forget to put eating utensils in the carryout bags. They more than make up for this small mis-hap with delicious meals that delight the taste buds. Delivery service as well as walk in service is excellent. The prices are more than reasonable and again the food is Excellent. I highly recommend this place!!! If you want average Chinese food than you need to go somewhere else but if you want really good/excellent Chinese food then this is the spot.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
